Mark Twain visited Maryborough Station in 1895.

Impressed by the sheer size of the majestic structure, he remarked

"How quaint, a station with a town attached"

He was the first twain to arrive at the platform!

About Us

olde photo

Located in the historic Railway Station in Maryborough, Victoria, Australia, we offer thousands of antique and collectable items, displayed in over 40,000 square feet of floor space.

We are open daily and stage regular platform markets (three times annually) - usually with the added attraction of a steam train entertaining the 5,000 visitors to each market.

Our cafe is a great, convenient place for lunch during a relaxing time of browsing.

Harp music is provided by Carolyn Brophy on the weekends - in winter by a giant open fire. Carolyn's collection is available on CD. Please E-mail for details

We are situated only two hours drive from central Melbourne and welcome your visit to our magnificent building - we hope that you will extend your stay to view other local attractions such as the towns of Castlemaine, Maldon, Daylesford and Avoca/Blue Pyrenees Hills, together with the nearby cities of Ballarat and Bendigo.
