Maryborough Station hosts Antique and Collectables Market Affair, three times a year - usually with the added attraction of a steam train entertaining the 3,000 visitors to each market.

The Station boasts one of the longest platforms in the southern hemisphere and has become a Mecca for train enthusiast's worldwide. Many local and interstate tourists arrive on a daily basis to wander the platform length and admire the building and magnificent architecture.
